We generally use our hands, elbows and sometimes feet in our massage treatments. But upon request we can provide warm oils, hot stones and cupping. As our therapists have been trained in a variety of Asian and western techniques, we allow them to play to their strengths, be they traditional Chinese Tui na pushing and pulling of the muscles , Zhi Ya pinching of accupresure points , Traditional Thai passive stretching with more gentle pressure than Chinese , or the long relaxing strokes of Swedish relaxation massage.
If you have a particular request, please let the receptionist know so she can best accommodate you. We seek to avoid the standard "do you want it hard, medium or soft" question, as massage can not be reduced to such simplicity! If you have a mild injury you need addressed or avoided, let us know.
If you particularly like head or foot massage, let the masseuse know at the start of the session. We have three treatment rooms and well-groomed masseuses keen to treat you well.
