Contact Admin. We popped in here one night with a couple from our tour and had thought it was a Sports Bar. Passing it a few times without looking in, all I had noticed was a few screens outside showing different sports channels.
When I finely realised that it was basically a hooker bar it just seemed slightly darker and more interesting. I went up to the bar to order drinks and was steered away by a waiter Rafael who cleared a table, that had two working but not drinking women, on it and sat us down and took our drinks order, The place is full of prostitutes chatting up some of the men who were drinking in the bar which is a good "spectator sport".
We had a few drinks and went back here a few times making a b line for Rafael who sorted us out with a table and drinks. I wasn't propositioned as I was obviously with my partner, but there was just a different vibe. This wont get a lot of mention in the Olympic and World Cup coverage over the next few years, but worth a visit if you want to see the shadier side of Rio.
Just let yourself know what you are letting yourself in for and what to expect before you venture in!!! Its fun to go in and watch for a few minutes, but unless you like being propositioned for sex for money every 5 minutes avoid this place in the evenings. Best place on the planet! Real lively place can get abit much if you just wanna chill the women can be very persistant.
This is good bar if you are looking to pickup a hooker or transvestite. Both the food and drinks are overpriced because Ex-Pats hangout here for hours trying to hookup for a price.
